Assessment is an essential part of normal teaching and learning in all subjects.
To achieve this, you could identify the key processes in speaking and listening that would give them the chance to develop their creativity. These could include engaging 'an audience, using a range of techniques to explore, enrich and explain their ideas’, presenting 'information and points of view clearly and appropriately in different contexts, adapting talk for a range of purposes and audiences’ and using 'different dramatic approaches to explore ideas, texts and issues’.
